School Director
The World Learner School is seeking a passionate and dedicated professional to lead our school.
You will oversee day to day operations of WLS and represent the school in the community. You’ll manage enrollment efforts and processes, promoting our school and ensuring every family who inquires is promptly introduced to the school and newly accepted families seamlessly transition into our environment. You will ensure that school operations are regulatory compliant with the state of MN and Osprey Wilds, our authorizer, and lead ongoing strategic initiatives.
The Director provides leadership to a flourishing community of children, parents, and staff while adhering to the WLS mission: To create a school that supports an experiential collaborative Montessori learning program that empowers children to unfold their full potential as whole and unique persons in classroom, local, and world communities.
You will develop and maintain warm, authentic relationships with families. You will continuously seek out opportunities to strengthen the experience for parents and children alike, to ensure the best-possible Montessori experience at WLS.
I. Essential Qualifications:
Training and/or demonstrated skills in:
A. Instruction and assessment
B. Human resource and personnel management
C. Financial management
D. Legal and compliance management
E. Effective communication; and building board, authorizer, and community relationships
F. Five or more years of experience in education
II. Desired Qualifications:
A. Master’s Degree in Education or related field
B. Five or more years of Montessori School teaching or administrative experience
C. Accredited AMI or AMS training

Special Education Teacher
World Learner School is seeking applications for an individual to join our team as a Special Education Teacher for the 2022-2023 school year. The position can be flexible and either full or part time.
The ideal candidate must have a MN Teaching License with certification an area of special education. WLS is willing to apply for a out-of-field variance for a candidate.

Support Assistant
World Learner School is seeking applications for individuals to join our team in support positions for the 2022-2023 school year. The position is full time (6 hours per day) and benefit eligible. The position is split between general education and special education duties and can be combined with Kids Club positions for full 8 hour employment.

English Language (EL) Teacher

Reading and Math Corps Tutors
World Learner School is seeking applications for Reading and Math Corps Tutors for the 2021-2022 school year. Hours are 9:00-12:30pm or 1:00-4:30pm Monday - Friday according to the school calendar. Applicants must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent.
